Amtrak Quik-Trak

When traveling by rail, travelers are encouraged to use the Amtrak Quik-Trak, a kiosk that is located in the ground level vendor area (across from Einstein Bagels) of Houston Hall, because service fees for tickets are no longer reimbursed by the University. This kiosk is the same as the self-ticketing machines located at the Amtrak 30th Street Station. Faculty, staff, and students alike can make reservations using the Amtrak Quik-Trak or the Amtrak website. Enter your credit card and reservation information into the Amtrak Quik-Trak to generate your Amtrak ticket. It is quick, easy and you won't incur any travel agency service fees!

Amtrak tickets can be issued for most reservations between Philadelphia, New York and Washington, D.C. by using this kiosk. You can even apply student discounts. So, don't stand in line at 30th Street Station anymore, get your tickets here on campus!

Amtrak Tickets For Non-Employees

Please note that the kiosk in Houston Hall assumes your travel commences from Philadelphia. If you are buying a ticket for someone else traveling here you should book the reservation using the Amtrak website. You can purchase the ticket and provide the traveler with the reservation number. They can enter the reservation number in any Amtrak kiosk along with a credit card. They can select "Advanced Paid Tickets" and "Print Tickets." The $0.00 on the ticket indicates that they have already been paid for.

When purchasing or picking up tickets at the kiosk, please keep in mind that you can only do three transactions at the kiosk per card, per location, per day. This policy is to protect against the occurrence of any possible fraudulent activity. However, if you have a group of people traveling together, you can put up to 8 people on a single reservation.

Refunds

If you need to refund an Amtrak ticket purchased from this machine, you can do one of two things:
