The University's Car Sharing Service Contract Supplier

ZipCar, the largest supplier of community-based car sharing programs in the US, is designed to reduce the automobile dependence in the Philadelphia region and beyond.  Since Penn wants to be an active supporter of  ZipCar is one of the University's strategic preferred contract suppliers of car sharing services.

About the Contract

Travel Services and Purchasing Services recently expanded our commitment to car sharing by providing Zipcars on campus as well as PhillyCarShare.  Car sharing is an affordable, convenient, and environmentally-friendly way to drive for Penn business.

Penn departments are encouraged to use either car sharing company for business transportation needs. A business rental is any rental for which Penn is paying directly (i.e. purchasing card) or the driver is paying for the rental and getting reimbursed.
