About

Travel Services is responsible for the development and administration of all travel and entertainment related polices and procedures, management of University corporate travel card programs , , and leveraging the University's spending on travel and entertainment related services in order to ensure best-in-class travel services to the University. Travel Services manages travel and entertainment supplier business relationships with Purchasing Services in conjunction with the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Project.

Travel Services and Purchasing Services are  on re-engineering the way travel and entertainment services are provided to Penn faculty and staff. This project is the result of a collaborative supply management initiative that leverages the combined resources, experience, and capabilities of both organizations.

Mission Statement

The mission of Travel Services is to obtain the best value for every Penn dollar spent in the procurement of travel-related products and services, while ensuring that the University receives a high level of service and operates within the fiscal guidelines outlined in the University's Travel and Entertainment Policy.

Travel Services is also committed to improving efficiency, increasing savings and providing comprehensive data from which each school and department can manage their procurement dollars more effectively.
