Travel & Card Services
Travel & Card Services, a Supply Management business partner
(effective July 1, 2008), provides travel and entertainment related services to the
Penn community. Travel & Card Services is responsible for the development and
administration of all travel and entertainment related polices and procedures,
management of University business card programs (Travel & Purchasing Card),
and leveraging the University's spend on travel and entertainment related services
in order to ensure best-in-class travel services to University faculty and staff.
Managing travel and entertainment supplier business relationships is collaborative
effort with Purchasing Services in conjunction with the
Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Project.
Travel & Card Services and Purchasing Services are collaborating on a new
travel services enhancement project
that is designed to reengineer the way travel and entertainment services are provided
to Penn faculty and staff. This project is the result of a collaborative supply
management initiative that leverages the combined resources, experience, and
capabilities of both organizations.
