Philadelphia Area Collegiate CooperativeWelcome to the Philadelphia Area Collegiate Cooperative (PACC) a cooperative purchasing organization established in March 2000. The PACC was formed as the result of an agreement between representatives of local higher education purchasing officers to utilize cooperative purchasing best practices to leverage combined buying power for our member institutions. The PACC membership includes public and private institutions located in and around the Philadelphia Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks, & Chester counties) area. The PACC utilizes the combined purchasing volume of its members to obtain the "least total cost" for targeted commodities while supporting the unique business requirements of each participating institution. All PACC contracts are awarded to quality suppliers that provide reliable and consistent service and support to all PACC member institutions. PACC members support the National Association of Educational Buyers (NAEP) and the NAEP Code of Ethics. The PACC also supports supplier diversity in our contracting opportunities and promotes utilization of local businesses, minority, women, physically challenged, veteran, and service disabled veteran owned businesses. CollaborationThe PACC targets cooperative purchasing opportunities that provide the greatest value to our members. PACC awarded contracts have resulted in significant cost savings and process efficiencies to our member institutions. When appropriate, PACC uses Online Competitive Bidding services provided by the University of Pennsylvania for cooperative bidding member requirements.
