Agilent and Stratagene Product Lines Now Available from Neta Scientific Incorporated via the Penn Marketplace

Purchasing Services is pleased to announce that Neta Scientific Incorporated is now the University's exclusive preferred contract supplier of Agilent and Stratagene PCR/RT-PCR enzymes, QPCR reagents, competent cells, mutagenesis and purification products. These products are available directly from Neta Scientific Incorporated in the Penn Marketplace effective November 2, 2009.

Please note that BEN Buys users are to continue to purchases Agilent instruments, custom and bulk bioreagents and instrument service agreements directly from Agilent Technologies.

The new Neta Scientific Incorporated discount pricing agreement for Agilent and Stratagene product lines is the result of the Purchasing Services Tier 1 Manufacturer Contracting & Enablement initiative and a strategic partnership agreement with Agilent Technologies that provides best-in-class pricing, service and support to the Penn research community.

In order to receive this new discounted pricing, the Agilent and Stratagene products covered under this arrangement must be processed directly from Neta Scientific Incorporated via the BEN Buys purchasing system. The University's MasterCard Purchasing Card cannot be used for purchases from Neta Scientific Incorporated.
