American Airlines Becomes a Preferred Travel Contract Supplier

Travel Services & Procurement Cards, in collaboration with Purchasing Services, has negotiated a new air travel discount agreement effective November 1, 2008 with American Airlines, a University preferred travel contract supplier.

Effective immediately, savings range from 2% to 5% domestically and up to 10% on full fare international tickets. In order to take advantage of our new savings opportunity with American Airlines, reservations must be made through the Penn desk at American Express by calling 215-898-9439 or 1-800-796-7573.

The travel contract with American Airlines is one of several savings opportunities negotiated on behalf of Penn travelers. Purchasing and Travel Services have also secured savings on certain fare classes with US Airways, United, Continental, and Air France.
