Innovators Circle

SciQuest Incorporated launched the "Innovators Circle" eProcurement benchmarking study in conjunction with IBM and the Pennsylvania State University Center for Supply Chain Research. Ten leading higher education institutions, University of Pennsylvania, University of Michigan, University of Notre Dame, University of New Mexico, University of Nevada - Reno, Arizona State University, McGill University, Indiana University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and the University of Arizona, announced the launch of Innovators Circle at the Next Level 2004 conference, SciQuest's forum for the higher education purchasing community.

Goals of the benchmarking study include:

  • Measuring and evaluating current spend and trends within higher education procurement
  • Assessing the rate of adoption and performance of leading procurement trends
  • Identifying best practices institutions have employed
  • Developing a framework to perform a multi-year repeatable procurement benchmarking process for future use

Findings will be presented in a series of outcome reports and case studies that will be distributed at future Next Level conferences.
