IBM/Lenovo Battery Recall

IBM and Lenovo are recalling certain
batteries that were used with various models of their ThinkPad portable line sold between
February 2005 and September 2006. There is a possibility that these batteries can overheat,
which could cause a fire risk.
Affected machines sold in the United States include:
- IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T43, T43p, T60, and T60p
- IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad X60 and X60s
- IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad R51e, R52, R60, and R60e
Lenovo is prepared to dispatch a replacement battery upon the receipt of
the replacement order.
