Penn Earns the Aberdeen Group's "Best Practices in eProcurement" Award

The University of Pennsylvania has a best-in-class eProcurement program, according to the
Aberdeen Group.
The Aberdeen Group awarded Penn its "Best Practice in eProcurement"
(see Aberdeen Group Case Study ),
one of a number of procurement related accolades Purchasing Services has received, in
collaboration with the
Office of the
Comptroller and Information
Systems and Computing, for its successful BEN Buys and
the Penn Marketplace procurement solution. Penn's eProcurement
solution, a partnership with
Oracle
and SciQuest Incorporated ,
has significantly streamlined internal procure-to-pay processes and reduced costs for products
and services as part of its supply chain initiatives.
Penn is the only higher education institution
award winner based on Aberdeen's evaluation.
