Purchasing Services Hosts New Diversity Supplier Forum

In partnership with SciQuest Incorporated, Penn's eProcurement business partner, Purchasing Services will be hosting a diversity supplier forum on Tuesday, October 19, 2004 in support of the new SciQuest/Penn Diversity Supplier Enablement project announced in July 2004.

This joint venture between SciQuest and Purchasing Services will help targeted diversity suppliers develop the electronic purchasing capabilities required to participate in the Penn Marketplace. As the gap between Penn's electronic purchasing business requirements and supplier capabilities continue to grow, this unique initiative provides participating suppliers with the training and development of electronic content management skills development required to participate in an electronic purchasing environment. These skills are required do business with Penn and will be helpful to the participating suppliers as they pursue new electronic purchasing opportunities outside of Penn.
