Effective July 1, 2008, UPS is Penn's preferred
provider of in-bound shipment services to all Penn campus locations.
This strategic initiative with UPS will
include the following:
- In-bound shipments of purchase orders to all Penn campus locations
- Transportation services to streamline on-campus deliveries, enhance package
tracking, reduce on-campus vehicle traffic in support the University's commitment
to sustainability and campus safety
- New cost containment opportunities
As a supplier to the University, your support and cooperation is
critical to ensuring that our new in-bound shipment initiative is successful.
UPS Account Executives can contact each new supplier for the purpose of implementing
in-bound shipment procedures to Penn. Please take the time to notify your
appropriate personnel so that they can meet with the UPS Account Executive when
he/she calls to schedule an appointment.
As a supplier to University of Pennsylvania, it is our expectation that ever effort
will be made by your company to support this strategic initiative and transition all
in-bound shipments to UPS. Please e-mail

Purchasing Services.
