Penn's electronic purchasing system is an effective marketing platform for
Penn Marketplace participating suppliers

decentralized purchasing environment such as Penn, enabling our faculty and staff
to quickly and easily access supplier product and promotion related information is
a critical success factor for suppliers and significantly enhances the potential
for new business development. The ability to utilize Penn's electronic purchasing
system as an internal web-based marketing tool is a competitive advantage for
suppliers and manufacturers participating in the
Penn Marketplace.
In response to suppliers and manufacturers that have committed their support of
Penn by participating in the Penn Marketplace, Purchasing Services is pleased to offer
an opportunity to participate in an internal marketing initiative to promote
corporate news, new products, and Penn specific promotions to faculty and staff.

enables participating suppliers and manufacturers to showcase their corporate news,
products and services, and Penn specific promotions to all
BEN Buys purchasing system users as well as
faculty and staff who have a need for your products and services.

Showcase, just one click away from the BEN Buys Requisition Homepage and
Purchasing Services website, is a significant competitive advantage for those
suppliers and manufacturers that choose to participate in this innovative marketing
initiative. Visitors to each supplier site are tracked and are available to each
supplier to help ensure the effectiveness of each supplier's internal marketing
initiatives.
