pharmaceutical and biotechnology research organizations, is a University strategic
preferred contract supplier of life science related products and services and a
Penn Marketplace participating supplier. Invitrogen
has dedicated sales, customer support and product specialists assigned to the University
and is committed to meeting the University's unique business requirements.
About the Contract
The Invitrogen discount pricing agreement, effective February 1, 2006, is the result
of a formal strategic business partner agreement negotiated in collaboration with the
School of Medicine. The University
will realize significant product cost savings, process efficiencies, and research related
benefits as a result of its strategic business partnership with Invitrogen.
Ordering Information
All Invitrogen purchase requests must be processed via the
BEN Buys purchasing system. The Invitrogen online
product catalog is available in the Penn Marketplace. The University's MasterCard
Purchasing Card cannot be used for purchases from Invitrogen. Product and
pricing information as well as assistance with special orders is available from the
Invitrogen customer support representative listed below.
