Promega Corporation

A University Preferred Manufacturer

Purchasing Services is pleased to announce the availability of a new strategic business relationship with Promega Corporation resulting from a new and innovative strategic sourcing strategy with our high volume manufacturers.

Enablement of the Promega Corporation online product catalog in the Penn Marketplace is the result of an innovative manufacturer contracting and enablement initiative that is designed to leverage manufacturer specific spend, increase utilization of the Penn Marketplace, and support the contractual relationship with our preferred contract suppliers.

All Promega Corporation products are available under a new manufacturer direct discount pricing agreement that includes an exclusive distribution agreement. Consolidation of distribution channels will further streamline the ordering process and reduce time consuming and costly paper invoice and check processing in Accounts Payable.

Effective January 5, 2007, all Promega Corporation products must be purchases through the exclusive distributor relationship with Fisher Scientific, Penn's strategic preferred contract supplier of research products.
