Financial Training
Ben Financials system training sessions for the University's
authorized buying tools is available to all authorized Penn faculty and
staff. Faculty and staff are required to utilize the University's authorized buying methods for
purchases of equipment, supplies and services from external suppliers. Financial training sessions
for authorized BEN Buys Purchasing System (including the
Penn Marketplace) users and MasterCard
Purchasing/Fleet Card Program cardholders are available from the University's
Financial Training
department which provides members of the University community with programs focused on the
University's financial processes, procedures and systems.
Financial system access will not be granted and a purchasing card will not be issued to a faculty
or staff member until training has been successfully completed and all appropriated forms have been
completed and submitted to the appropriate organization.

Financial Training department
staff member.
